Simon’s First Hover
On a bright Friday afternoon, 12-year-old Simon took to the skies for his very first flight—this time, not in an airplane, but in a Schweitzer helicopter. Guided by his instructor Manny from Orlando Flight School, the flight departed from Orlando Executive Airport and offered a stunning aerial tour over the city of Orlando.
This special introductory flight marked the beginning of what we hope will be a lifelong passion for aviation. I had the privilege of capturing this unforgettable moment through photos and video, preserving Simon’s first experience as a helicopter pilot in training.
