Today was one of those perfect Orlando days that reminds you why good food is always better when shared with great friends.
I spent brunch at The Wellborn with my amazing friends Simon and Rafael, and honestly — this place feels like it was designed for people who truly love plants. Everywhere you look, there’s greenery, texture, shade, and that calm garden energy that instantly makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper.
The day itself couldn’t quite decide what season it wanted to be. We started the morning with cooler air — almost crisp by Florida standards — and by brunch time the sun began creeping in, warming everything up just enough to make sitting outside feel absolutely perfect. That gentle temperature shift made the entire experience even better, especially surrounded by palms, vines, and lush landscaping.

The Wellborn is one of those spots that feels tucked away from the city even though you’re right in it. It’s vibrant without being loud, social without being chaotic — the kind of place where conversations flow easily, laughter comes naturally, and your phone only comes out to capture the moment (and the plants… definitely the plants).
If you’re someone who loves greenery, outdoor spaces, or just enjoys brunch in an environment that feels alive, this is your place. It’s not just a meal — it’s an atmosphere.
Grateful for good friends, good food, and mornings like this — the kind that remind you that sometimes the best plans are simply showing up and enjoying where the day takes you.
