Today I visited Cpl. Larry E. Smedley National Vietnam War Museum (aka The Bunker).
Named in honor of Marine Corporal Larry E. Smedley, who bravely led his squad in Vietnam and gave his life in service—he was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
This place isn’t just a museum—it’s a meaningful tribute to sacrifice, courage and the everyday heroes who stood in harm’s way so we might live in peace.
Today I walked through the exhibits, reflected on the stories, and felt deep respect for those who served.
If you’re in Orlando and have a few moments, I highly recommend a visit. It’s a powerful reminder of the cost of freedom and the legacy we carry forward.
