Weekend Vibes at Mount Dora’s Fall Festival – A Perfect October Escape!
This past October, we packed our weekend bags and headed north to one of Central Florida’s most charming small towns—Mount Dora—just in time for the Great Scott Farms Fall Festival, and let me tell you.
The Fall Festival at Great Scott Farms is everything you'd want from an autumn getaway. We're talking classic hay rides, a vibrant pumpkin patch, a giant corn maze, and playful attractions like a super slide, castle playground, and even a jumping pillow for the kid in all of us. Whether you’re with family, friends, or flying solo with a cappuccino in hand (guilty!), there’s joy around every corner.
Mount Dora itself adds to the charm. After spending the morning on the farm, we strolled through downtown, dipped into some adorable local shops, grabbed a lakeside lunch, and soaked up that vintage Florida vibe this town wears so well. And yes—I found a little café that makes a mean cappuccino.
